I love opt.1, but think it's a shame the cat pictured isn't fluffy like HHC.

I immediately loved option 3. The curiosity of the paw and whiskers peeping from behind. Reminded me of my cats paw and how they love to do this. It’s also a bit different to other covers which I also liked. Really looking forward to getting my copy in November. Thank you for keeping us provided with your wisdom, compassion, kindness, humour and Dharma knowledge. 🙏

Option 3 is the most attractive and the most intriguing. That would make me pick up the book straight away. Though I must say that seeing the author would make me buy it anyway as I have all of your books! Definitely Number 3

I love cover 3! Gold, voluptuous text on a rich background. A hint of whisker and claw. There is “forward movement” or potential represented in the image and it’s fun. (Love love love your writing style / teaching).

I love option 1. What a magnificent polydactyl foot with 5 claws instead of 4. Very special kitty as all cats are.

After looking at the images multiple times, I chose number 1. I paused frequently over the other two, and liked both, but finally decided 1 was most in line with both the earlier HHC books AND got the — clever — “claw” play-on-titles/genres across.

I also thought that 1 was most likely to attract new readers, and not just settled fans like me who only need to see “David Michie” on a book cover to start salivating like HHC when Mrs. Trincie sets down a dish of savory treats. After all, we enthusiasts want to see our favorite Dharma storyteller read by as many others as possible, to benefit all beings! 🐱

The 3rd cover is wonderful, it brought an instant joyous smile to my face and reminded me of times my beautiful Sophie cat would use her paw to open a door to come and say hello! The picture beautifully depicts the title of your book.

Golly! They're brilliant!

The trouble is, having seen other images portraying HCC as a fluffy, mature and elegant, 3 is probably a little edgy. And 1 doesn't fit with that.

However, 2 shows such inscrutability and internal fortitude...

I love the first one. Kittens are always great for marketing lol, and this shows the playful side as well as the serious side to a cat- much like your books.

I love option 3! Mystery--the book spine--cute--the paw and whiskers of the most beautiful creature that ever lived... I’ve listened to all the books and re- listen with my granddaughter. She always wants to study the covers as she listens. I think she’d love option 3 as well.

Going for no 3. I just love the whiskers and the paw which may be a claw but is so strokeable.

2 is beautiful but doesn't tie in with the title and 1 is a little strange.

My humble choice: it just has to be Option 3! The paw/claws, colours, everything about it just attracts me instantly! I love the others too but this is new, different to the others. I could never thank you enough David for having contributed to changing my world and subsequently that of all living beings! I can't wait for the new book to come out. Thank you!

I actually liked the picture at the introduction and it shows a continuation of the stories of HHC.

Option 1 was my first choice as I feel it goes with the title.

Option2 is a lovely picture.

Option 3 is more mysterious and reminds me of a crime novel.

My choice would be Option 1.

Thank you and good luck. This is fun

Option 1 is best!

Very tricky choice!

I finally ( after much internal debate) liked 1 best!

Mainly because the outstretched paw reminds me of my cat desperately trying to resist the lure of dangling headphones but attraction wins and the paw stretches towards the irresistible temptation!

I like all of them though and I think any one of them would make me pick it up!

Even if I didn't already pick up any and all of your books!
