Thank you Roxy for the bodhisattva that you are🙏, and, thank you David for having introduced us to her and her work🙏 It encourages us to be more mindful of trying to be bodhisattva too! 🙏
Your work is amazing David. The love caring, giving and supporting puts you forward as a bodhisattva along with Roxy.
Your working and writing is from your heart and I so appreciate your sharing what is going on around you. You and Roxy makes such a big difference in this world as well as inspire the rest of us to help out where we can. Love to you.
Animal caregivers have a calling…we can’t not rescue…sometimes we question our own sanity but when we get it right we know the angels sing…much Love to Roxy and her teams…she makes the world a much more loving place as an example of compassion and kindness for all sentient beings bringing awareness and light to our planet in a time on Earth when Love and Light are needed more than ever as sanctuary animals are here to teach all of us❤️ about what Love can do…Thank you David for sharing the goodness that is Roxy .I love you both-Adrienne
I shared this post with the volunteers and auxiliary members of our local animal welfare organization, Heritage Humane Society, for which I serve as President of the fundraising and community advocacy auxiliary. Thank you for all you do, David, to support animal welfare across the globe.
You are so kind, David, to share your experiences and knowledge with us. I, for one, just wish I could do more. Thank you for your love and warmth. Best wishes for a wonderful 2024!
Your updates are always uplifting. I am currently reading ‘Soul of the Wild: the Wisdom of Elephants’ by Barbara Shor. Very interesting. The work that Roxy does is so amazing that I also choose to donate myself when ever I can.
Thank you for sharing, David. I love these updates... just plain feel good moments. I kept going back to the picture of Roxy and Moyo - is that elephant actually SMILING?! :-) Thank you for helping us all understand Buddhism a little better through real life stories we can feel a part of - it's very special.
Panda Masuie, the re-wilding site is near the Falls. We don't visit Wild is Life in Harare, but do get to spend time with the beautiful elies who choose to return home in the late afternoons.
It was an honor and a privilege during Mindful Safari to be a tiny part of this dramatic story. Moyo is in my heart and always will be.
I want to share with you that my rescue, El Refugio, in Costa Rica is moving to a beautiful new shelter thanks to a very generous donor family. My dream for El Refugio has come true.
With Love & Gratitude for all Roxy and you do...
"caring for others more than oneself” is one of the definitions of a bodhisattva. 🙏🏽❣

Thanks David. Roxy is a special person. Walks the walk. Simply marvellous. Thank-you for allowing us to help a little.
Beautiful,
My hope is that expression of boundless compassion and love extends outwards and changes the world.

I was so delighted to hear more about the sanctuary and am wiggling with excitement to visit it with you the July.
What an amazing undertaking. I'll be making a direct donation to them as my Christmas gifts to the adults on my list.
