Hi David, whenever I read your blog post, it always coincides with whatever aspect of buddhism I am reading about at the time. I enjoy your writing and find it clear and very helpful. I love The Dalai Lama's cat books and am reading Enlightenment to Go at the moment. I want to subscribe and will take a look at doing that. I feel that your books are helping me find my way, after many years of trauma and abuse followed by chronic illness. Your writing is full of hope and love. Peace and love to you, Mary.

I really appreciate your reponse, Mary. There does so often seem to be an element of synchronicity in the way we find ourselves coming into contact with an idea or insight just when we need it. Hope and love - we need these as much as food for life to be worthwhile.

David, I am a new subscriber and reading "The Four Paws of Spiritual Success." In this book, you go into detail about bodhicitta, the second principle: "wishing all beings to have boundless good qualities..." And, to effect one's personal practice of bodhicitta, the necessity of practicing renunciation, which is the first principle. How does one read and watch the news from Ukraine and "turn away from hatred and attachment -- only by not favoring this one, or being partial to that one" in order to "be authentic in wishing for the full enlightenment of very living being, without exception." Certainly we wish Putin to achieve full enlightenment, but...how does one turn away from such blatant evil and achieve equanimity, renouncing attachment to outcome?

I so appreciate having found your books and am looking forward to many more. It all started with The Magician of Lhasa and of course led to the Dalai Lama’s Cat series. I felt as though she was with me in the form of my Siamese cat who is now in the higher realms (I hope) πŸ™

Hi David, There seems to be a glitch in the system. Firstly, 'Subscribe' defaulted to my husband's email. Tried another browser which just required my credit card with no ID. It may be our elderly computer but I would like to subscribe. Kind regards Rosemary
