(Photo: Mackenzie Marco on Unsplashed) Imagine, for a moment, that you had the power to read other people’s minds. That you knew exactly how they experienced reality from one moment to the next. Even when they were asleep, you could perceive their dreams and emotions.
So glad to hear this, Megan! We give gratitude a chance when we are lifted out of the melodrama of the moment to a more panoramic perspective of our reality,
Hi David, I really enjoyed your insight it is quite informative! I also would like to know, if you know where I could purchase a pray wheel? Thanks for your assistance regarding this matter.
Hi Brenda, Thanks so much for your comment. I suggest you go online for a prayer wheel - there are so many different options in terms of quallity/price and location.
I read the first Dali Lama’s Cat book a few year ago. Since then I have read almost all of your books. I am drawn to stories that don’t just entertain, but teach. You do both so beautifully. I have been meditating for almost 20 years, but had no direction. I was still living the illusions, but some things did change. They changed enough for me to come to Buddhist practices. I might be a later in life beginner, but I want to thank you with all my heart for sharing your stories, your journey, and being a teacher. It’s a complicated process for me to grasp at times, you make it easier. I also love the part of helping animals and the nuns in the Himalayas. Much loving-kindness to all beings. So much good here!💕✨
I learn and affirm so much from all of your writings, David and your Saturday (early morning, here in No. Calif) offerings are weekly gifts!
I always read the comments and your responses that follow, gaining yet that bit more...Life has turned me into a “champion” & amazed, humble and delighted witness of the transformative “miracle” of “gratitude in all things, even the tough stuff”. So when I read in one of your comments to a fellow reader here “...We give gratitude a chance...” it prompted that soul-expanding “Yes! Aha!” that the realization of transformative gratitude brings to me. Can one be grateful for gratitude? Oh, yes!
A wonderful, creative, healthy and insightful 2023 to you David. Thank you for all your words and thoughts in your articles and books. 💟🕉☮️☯️
And to you too, Karen! Many thanks for your very kind message!
Thank you for the role reversal. I welcome anyone giving me a gentle nudge to see past the drama. Love!
