David, thank you for relaying this heartwarming story of sweet Summer’s journey on planet Earth. it would seem elephant mamas and aunties know “it takes a village “ to raise a child with nurturing kindness ,24/7 attention, security and Love ! 🐘🐘🐘💓
Wow! Imagine if humans could be this compassionate to one another. So grateful to have visited this amazing facility on the Mindful Safari. Thanks David for opening the world to us.
Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful information about Summer, Auntie Nora and Annabel. The elephants are amazing, I really love them. As I was reading your email, it got straight to my heart.
actually, lactation can be stimulated in humans and in other animals just by sucking. I have even heard of men being able to produce milk that way. This is a nice story.
What a Heart-warming read and such a wonderful story about auntie Norah. ❤️ A lovely way to rest my head as I drift off to sleep thinking about such an amazing matriarchal herd of elies.
Panda isn't on a map as it is both remote and private - but our small Mindful Safari group will be visiting to meditate with the elies and hopefully meet Summer and her two Mums!
Just goes to show how sharing love changes not only the reciever, but the giver, too!! If we just lean into compassion for others, nature will show us how and provide us the tools to give what others need!!
It does, doesn't it, Anne, and such a delightful unexpected surprise on a dark damp Autumn Wednesday morning in Kapiti!
Thank you David for enriching our lives every week with these beautiful updates and your gentle guidance to help us understand the Dharma's message of love and compassion. 😊

You were an inaugural visitor, Elaine, and it's great that you have a sense of where it is and how it feels.
These recordings are excellent… amazing what a “cat has to share”…. Available on audible…
Many thanks for your kind message, Linda!

Intriguing, Judith, this is new to me!
What a wonderful story! We humans have a lot to learn from other species. We can fall far short of them at times.
We sure do, thank you Liv!

Please email me regarding how I might get from Victoria Falls to Panda Masuie. I searched but couldn't find a good map or site for PM.
See reply below, Penelope.
Thanks for sharing this. I'm especially enamored with the love and dedication of Nora.
Since Cindy and I will be in Victoria Falls for a few days before the Mindful Safari perhaps we can go meet the three gals.
If you have any advice about this, or can help facilitate that, I'd be so very grateful.
