Reading your updates, David, and all your stories/teachings are always a pleasure and so very uplifting. Your adding a video and/or photograph here and there, makes such a difference. Lovely to see those precious Rangers receiving important training. Being a ranger can be rewarding but also a very challenging and extremely dangerous job. It is so sad that many lose their lives while trying to protect animals and the environment. The ellie reaching into your pocket for a food pellet was so sweet, not to mention Kadiki, Marimba, and Pickles.
I think the lives of many would be so impoverished, if you hadn't come our way.
Loved reading about the sanctuary. So good to know they are kept safe as possible to enjoy life. The pangolins are beautiful creatures so gentle and shy. I saw a picture of one in a cage and I cried at its expression. It was in such suffering. I despair of most humans so lovely to see such lovely cared for creatures. Thank you and the rangers and all involved.
I always appreciate these updates. Such amazing and beautiful animals fill my heart with such joy. The people who care for and protect them are truly inspirational and I feel so much gratitude for they work they do.
Thank you David, so love to keep connected with the sanctuary. Feel grateful for growing up amongst this incredible wildlife, and now so far away in a country with very little wildlife I miss it. Good to know a little sub (along with so many others') is a help.
Thank you for bringing the issue of human predation in animal parks. For your readers who have young children, I highly recommend the book 'Walter Warthog' by Betty Leslie-Melville.'. It tells the true story of Giraffe Manor in Nairobii and the many misadventures of a lovable warthog named after Walter Cronkite. I read this book to 7-8 yr. olds for 25 years-- it is a heartwarming story, but also talks about the poaching of wild animals and the efforts by park rangers to protect them.
A big thanks for sharing the pictures of these oh so special animals and what is going on to protect them. Lots of love to all of those working on this mission.
Thank you for your sharing. Also that in sharing we get the chance to be, in a small way, part of helping
those delightful creatures and their human protectors. What a shame that all humans are not of that ilk, wouldn't the world be SO much nicer for all beings

Love this! I think I’m already subscribed, if not let me know. See you soon!❤️
I love the updates. Some peaceful signs in a troubled world. Hope for better understanding and living in our troubled world.
What fabulous creatures. And well done the Rangers

Beautiful creatures, I couldn’t believe the length of the pangolin’s tongue!!! Adorable… Thank you for all the pictures of the animals.
Thank you for this update! So lovely to see Kadiki ! I've never seen a pangolin up close; this was a treat!
How wonderful to see the training. It's sad that it is necessary. These lives are so precious
What a great set of images and video! Thanks so much, so good to see the “real” Kadiki and her friends.
