Thank you David…in my work the silent heros always amaze me and it’s like a little silent present to see the results of their work on peoples happy faces who never know how we got “there…” speaking of animal rescues of course from my Blueberry Barn…🐱🐶🙏❤️ Baby Summer is growing so big,
Many thanks as always, Adrienne. You are right to call them 'silent heroes.' When we despair about the degenerative age in which we live, recalling the many silent heroes is a useful antidote to the very noisy anti-heroes!
Your work is a joy to me. The cat musings are amazing and inspiring. This was a really good one. And then followed by the elephants in the river enjoying the water so much. Thank you for these wonderful connections you share with us. They thrill my heart. 💞🐾
I wish I did feel compassion for all sentient beings, Linda, but there are a few I struggle with! Plus the wisdom is my lamas'. But I am so happy that you are part of our small, virtual but global sangha!
Going through chemo, with curiosity, hope, moments of equanimity, and fear (🤷♀️) : when I get these I just smile and relish and look forward to the moment I can listen. 🙏🙏🙏😌
Oh, how precious! Thank you for sharing this wonderful video of joy!!
And, as always, anything written regarding our favorite cat is always a treat.
I wanted you to know I just came back from a month in India. I study with my reacher in Tiruvannamalai, at the foot of Arunachala.
My stay is with the Shivalaya Boutique Stay - a delightful family run eco-friendly piece of heaven. I brought with me all the Dalai Lama cat books for them to scatter in the guest rooms - after they had read them, of course!!
As this family has rescued several homeless and sick cats, I knew they would adore your books!
As always, I send this with fratitude for all you are doing.
Gosh, Abhaya, with readers like you who needs a marketing team?! Thank you so much for sharing my books at Shivalaya Boutiqee Stay - looks like an intriguing place and very highly reviewed. My sincere thanks for your generous support!
How lovely to hear from HHC. I have missed her. Somehow the teachings from her tales seem to resonate so well and are very easily understood. Something stays with me to be reflected upon throughout the day.
I loved this suggestion, the very best thing to do with virtue, Give it away! Thanks so much. I did not have the opportunity to write, because my modem was out of order. I am sorry. And thanks so much for the video, I love elephants. I would love to be there!
I liked what I read and I agreed with it until I felt that I was the one climbing that mountain and hearing the voices of those men on motorcycles. You really destroyed me with an old person I knew. Anything he lived was simple to choose from it as a legendary story. My regards to you. 🌟
The joy of being back in Durham sala and The Himalayan Book Cafe is so special. And to follow it up with that lush video was like dessert,Thanks so much!

Dear David,
Thank you for sharing wirh us your Dalai Lama cat wisdoms, the playful elephants, and the master piece performed by this amazing pianist.
Glad that you enjoyed Helene's performance. Intriguingly, she also set up a sanctuary for wolves in USA. She seems like an amazing person!
How lovely to hear from HHC. I have missed her. Somehow the teachings from her tales seem to resonate so well and are very easily understood. Something stays with me to be reflected upon throughout the day.
Really glad to hear it, thank you Anne. There is something a bit magical about her for all of us ...
I stumbled across The Dalai Lama's Cat - loved it, have sent copies to several friends going through tough times. A joy.
You have an incredible knack to see more clearly. Thank you.
