Haha! I love Caves House. I had an old 8mm film put to DVD years ago - my parents used to go to Caves House in the early 1960s when my brother and I were little and my Dad had movies of us playing quoits on the verandah, feeding kangaroos and playing in the gentle ocean, and the old Vanguard driving out the driveway as we waved farewell after our holidays. ☺️

Serene and beautiful. There are just so many places hidden around the world like this place and to have the good fortune to discover them is wonderful. Thank you for sharing. I can see my self sitting under those trees. One of the special gifts of this world. I absolutely adore trees.

The Caves Hotel looks so colonial. Has it always been a hotel?

Thank you David you must be reinvigorated after a trip there.

Tranquil and beautiful. My favorite places on the planet. I think I will plan a trip there.

You should visit us in Costa Rica, you would find that quality of existence here too.

Hi David, I can totally understand your mindless, relaxing break away from inner city madness to down south, especially Caves House with Lennie. The garden looks superb & I hope I too can enjoy sometime there meandering the grounds. I am so fortunate in choosing a suburb at the end of the metropolitan area well south of Mandurah, ocean one side & estuary the other. Today I walked the beach with my dog & virtually had the coastline to myself, bar 2 walkers. I pinch myself most days.

Gardens—gazing upon them, walking through them, sitting in them, creating them, tending them—such beautiful ways to be in heaven on earth.

I will not make it to australia in this lifetime, but tinker in my garden daily and your photos are inspiring. 🌻🍁

Love the photo of you and the little dog. 🐕

How fabulous! Good Fortune indeed! 🙏 What a pity about the production idea. Keep it on the back burner. Let's trust it's time will come. I loved going to the south west when I lived in WA. Denmark, Peaceful Bay. So beautiful. Enjoy it! Well deserved.
