Dear Subscribers, I have been on the move this week, and rather than post something I wrote earlier, in the spirit of spontaneity I thought I’d share a few photos from my travels. You may be aware that I bring groups of people to my homeland of Zimbabwe, Africa each year for Mindful Safaris. We always come in August, which is prime animal-viewing time. Because the rains fall in summer, by the end of our Southern hemisphere winter water is scarce, animals are more inclined to visit watering holes and the bush has died back, making it much easier to see the incredible variety of beings that call this place home.
Thanks for sharing David. We had such amazing trip with you in 2019. Enjoy the tranquility and joy that emanates from the land, the people and the animals notwithstanding the hardships they face. 💕
On my bucket list too, to join you, David, on one of your Mindfulness Safaris! But I call it my Heart's Desires list. Don't want to get too wrapped up in the end of life thoughts even though Buddhists do value that contemplation :) LOL
You are so lucky being back in the Zimbabwe bush next to that magnificent river. I can almost smell the scents in the air where you are. It is such a special place. Enjoy!
She has been making a slow recovery from what I hear, Anne. We are visiting this coming week and I will know a lot more after we've visited Panda Masuie.
