Thank you for sharing these terribly sad but heart warming stories of love and hope for those creatures in need. Wonderful work Sarah, Viney and Twala team. It is an honour to contribute
Heartbreaking and also inspiring. Thank you for connecting us with Twala and telling us about Sarah and Vinay and the beautiful and vulnerable beings they care for. So much respect and admiration 🙏🏼💗
Oh my goodness this brought tears to my eyes both in sadness and the amazing loving kindness of Sarah and her team. Thank you David for sharing this with us. ❤️
Thank you David for having introduced us to Sarah and the incredible work she and her team at Twala do for these creatures! As you said she is a Bodhisatva!
May all beings have happiness and their causes....🙏❤🙏
David, your deeply moving post is a heartfelt reminder that every living being shares the need for understanding and support through trauma, and how love - wrapped in patience - is a life giving and sustaining force that is both humbling and inspiring. Your delicate and sometimes painful words pulled me into the sanctuary and I’m grateful for the experience, thank you.
Thank you for such beautiful, deeply moving words about my beloved Twala. You are right, Sarah and Vin are the embodiment of all that is good and compassionate. And the difference they make to so many is profound. I feel privileged to have been to Twala many times. I hope to return again soon. Thank you for supporting them.
Thank you for sharing these stories David, both the heartbreaking aspects and the reminder of the difference caring hearts like Sarah and her team make in the face of such suffering. Through these stories you have been instrumental in my volunteering at our local Animal sanctuary (a long story)and it’s become one of the happiest times in my week. Although Animal welfare in New Zealand can’t compare with Africa, cruelty is still what it is and there is sometimes unspeakable suffering. But witnessing the capacity for love and acceptance from animals is truly humbling. They are wonderful teachers and companions. I have so much gratitude to the brave and generous souls who open these Sanctuaries and carry all the responsibility, heartache and hard work; it’s an immense commitment. Bodhisattvas indeed.
Thank you for sharing this David. My heart breaks at the suffering these animals have been put through and I am very thankful that there are people like Sarah and her husband who give so much. It is a very great privilege to be able to help even in such a small way and I thank you for making it possible.
Animals (any animal of any sort) are the second of the dimensions in my life and to see how Twala operates is heartwarming. So delighted to see Spike on her little wheels. So glad that our subscriptions help in this way.

How grateful I am that you help us help them. My heart goes out to all of them.
It was heartwarming to see Spikes tentative tail wag at the end of the video.
Thank you so much.

This is so beautiful to see.
Spike's gonna be fine. May take awhile, but she'll find her way through.
