Thankyou for the Cocoon meditation. I listen to all your books through audible - and would love more audio and video segments like this . Reading your blog is great but listening to your thoughts, stories and meditations is a bonus . Please do more .

Many thanks Lesley, I will certainly do this!

And think about approaching the Calm app staff - a chapter from Dalai Lama's cat would be ideal for your fans ( who also listen to that calming App)

If your fans are like me, many of us have trouble sleeping and use the CALM app and their sleep stories to help us sleep. We may be listening to your books on audible but to have a 20 min chapter on CALM would be fantastic and introduce you to a large audience. The do have a series of CAT narrated sleep stories with Humphrey the cat.. which made me think of your snowlion !

Thank you for sharing this healing meditation. I know Lesley suggested you start posting on the Calm app, but I would recommend Insight Timer. Beginning a Buddhist meditation practice by sharing short, guided meditations would be a valuable addition to the millions of people who use the app daily.

Thanks for your suggestion, Kathryn! I know there are some great apps out there. My challenge is to find a balance between inner work/meditation and sharing the Dharma in the most time efficient way. Hours in the day!

We loved the guided meditation. I think we need a guru to help us or we don’t meditate. We have now done this meditation two days in a row. We need more like it!

The update on Moyo was so beautiful. I will never forget her. Maybe we would be able to see her on Mindful Safari this year?!

Thanks Sheila! We plan revisiting Panda Masuie this year and if Moyo hasn't gone off with her boyfriend we will hopefully see her. Such amazing progress since last August, isn't it?

However this evening practicing the guided meditation I found your words struck home to me and I re directed the energy to my left leg. I felt it relax and found a lessening of the pain. Thank you so much I will use it again

Thank you David, I just did the guided meditation and found it fantastic. I have tried others not to be of much use. I didn’t quite get the blue cacophony thing but the energy from your spoken word, certainly came through me and I directed it to my left leg. As you know I have recently had a hip replacement. I walked today on crutches instead of my Zimmer frame. It went well again but as always my leg was ledan afterwards. It always feels tired after I have used the crutches but I feel uplifted after doing so. As I was doing the meditation. I felt pulses of energy going down my leg and it feels so much more relaxed.

I have tried guided meditation before but it didn’t do it for me, I like silence when I meditate do some voice speaking to me distracts me. However this evening pervert th is evening

I am really glad to hear this, Peter. The more familiar we become with the practice, the more powerful it's effects.

Thank you David, for the guided cocoon meditation and your booklet Medicine Buddha. Our yoga teacher sometimes does a similar guided visualisation at the end of the class with either blue or golden light.

David thank you so much for the blue light meditation! It was so good to be able to experience a guided meditation again. Living where I do now, I have not been able to visit a Buddhist centre for some years. So your substack emails make such a difference. And to see the animals at the various centres succeeding so well is very uplifting. Thank you. Elaine
