Thank you David for 'feeding' us all with this. I felt as peaceful as little Gizmo with his flower and milk bottle by the end! 🕊️ For me it is also very timely as I'm currently in a season of insomnia; while I'm grateful that I'm learning to accept such testing times without struggle but rather acceptance, nevertheless it is certainly exhausting. Your piece, in a way I can't really articulate yet, seems to be speaking to me of the wisdom of 'letting go' of any rational search for the 'why' of my insomnia but rather the wisdom of embracing it simply because 'it is what it is.' Thanks again 🙏

I am sorry to her about your season of insomnia, Michael. How poetically put! I can't help feeling that the wisdom of letting go can only be of benefit. Thank you so much for your kind message.

Hope you find to accept the testing times, I can not right now, I feel alone and some times sorry for myself.

Hi Rossy...thanks for your message 🙏

I'm sorry to hear you're feeling down at the moment and not in a good place. I believe we all feel alone at times and that it is natural to feel sorry for ourselves during such times simply because we feel there is no-one else who feels sorry for us or who is there to reach out to us.

I would encourage you to try not to 'beat yourself up' during such times...we all share in the human condition and I find that in recognising that to ourselves then that in itself creates a connection with the rest of humanity.

Why not think about posting of your struggles? I'm sure that people will reach out to you if you do. I know that posting personal things, as I do on my newsletters "Humanitas" and "Shav 'Immi", can make a person feel vulnerable and a little uncomfortable but my experience of Substack readers is that they are very supportive and empathetic. And when you receive a 'like' or a comment, then you feel that little less alone.

So why not go for it and publish a post? I'm going to subscribe to your Substack once I've finished this message to you...I look forward to your first post!

You take care, be kind to yourself, and trust that 'all will be well.' 🕊️👋

A very well thought out analysis. Thank you! How wonderful to be rebelliously wise! And thank you for the pictures of gizmo and the caregiver. Putting all their philosophies into action, right there, with that adorable baby. Love wins every hand.

Bless you for taking the time to thoughtfully explore these great teachers, and their messages. As I asked last week if you could follow both Christ and Buddha, this post has clarified to me, what my path should be, I say path as ultimately lead to the same place. I see it know as we all want to get to the top of the mountain, do we wish to walk in the open, bright nourishing sunlight of the path on our left or the calm soothing forest path on our right? This is simply a personal choice, the most important thing is that we will meet each other at the top. May our journeys be Blessed, and I’ll met you there. 🙏

Thank you, David for your wisdom and generosity. Once again you have clarified several different topics, all of which come back to mankind's need to accept and love each other, differences

notwithstanding. Your voice is a beacon of hope for me, and I'm sure many others, in this time of escalating tensions in the Middle East.

Thank you for this. It is meaningful to me because it felt like a visit with my maternal Grandmother. She lived a simple life in a small cabin in the Mojave Desert. She taught me much of what you shared, and was way ahead of her time. Little did I know how important it would be during my life. 🙏🪷

Love the quotes you compiled. And love how clearly you located and tied together the 3 figure’s deep wisdom regarding liberation of ego.

How better to assist letting go of what needs to be dropped than by focusing on helping others. The photos of little Gizmo are precious. 🐒

Thank you for sharing your gifts of writing, spiritual clarity and compassion with us. ☮️

This is such a reassuring post - that in fact, history's great minds have the same view. It gives hope, I think, that rationality may permeate. That if we go on being mindful of others and what surrounds us and act in kindness, it'll be ripples on a pond, spreading out to the darker edges.

The image of little Gizmo is the perfect illustration. Simple security, love and care...

What a fascinating post. I love the quotes from each and how they all run along the same lines. Also very nice to realize that we have many teachers.

I also LOVE the picture of them having tea together.

little Gizmo is so sweet.

Thanks, Sarah, yes that AI generated image is quite fun! Interesting the concepts we have of Buddha and Jesus who sadly were never photographed. One wonders what they really did look like!!

My first comment went into hyperspace, I think. Just started reading Rob Bell's What We Talk About When We Talk About God, and in chapter two he dazzles with a brief description of the universe and quantum mechanics. Now we're talking! There is so much space in creation that it shouldn't be that hard to turn the ego into a bunch of wispy clouds! And the tiny Vervet monkey orphan is the very embodiment of vulnerability, another truth of reality. Thanks for this, David. Kathy

Thank you David. Many of us knew when we came into Life on Earth we would experience duality and that all is illusion based only in perception and the true reality is GOD ….personally I learned early only about a tenth of my highest self is here in this dream we call Life…The rest remains at “ Home” where with each lifetime I aspire to return to my highest self / GOD and each day I get closer which fills me with sunshine and I am very very happy in life…as a result…Each of these 3 Teachers ,I believe, have been sent with a mission to elevate us all ,as ascended masters ,if you will, and work toward the greater good giving us fresh eyes if we care to see our true purpose ( to go home) and that everything else is illusion. So we remain mindful , we are creative and kind ,do our best and ultimately finally go home…it’s really that simple! ❤️Life is but a dream ,God’s dream and if we are present we see sign posts ( teachers) along the way leading us forward…and out of illusion and beyond duality to LOVE which is truly all there is…LOVE LOVE LOVE… may we all be Illuminated by LOVE…🥰🙏-Adrienne

Dearest David,

I do agree that find converge perspective is important and also the degree of coherence to be reassuring.

I must say that interdependence is hard for me to live with, I feel alone as my kids and granddaughters left. I grasp the concept in my mind, but in my heart I feel alone. I am meditating and working on it. Sorry that I have not get it yet.

I loved the photo Little Gizmo’s photo, the orphaned vervet monkey, hope he will sett in to a new life at Twala.

Greetings from Mexico
